<p>While you can do the same on a PC, you need to set up your Desktop Search in Windows so that your Lotus Notes&#8217; content is included in your PC&#8217;s more general indexing system.  There has also been talk amoung those at Microsoft about making Lotus Notes&#8217; content visible to Microsoft Windows Desktop Search.</p>
<p>But, Holmes also argues that Notes on a Mac is better than on a PC, because &#8220;the capability is visible and everything is already in place so that it &#8216;just works&#8217; once you&#8217;ve completed the Configuration dialog.&#8221;</p>
<p>Of course, that&#8217;s only one man&#8217;s opinion.  What do <em>you</em> think?</p>
